Amari Shields
Amari Shields has been an educator in the Houston area for the last decade. She has taught every subject, but her classroom experience revolved around upper elementary and middle school science instruction. After earning her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies, she began to have an interest in cross-curricular lessons and student motivation. She served as a Curriculum Instructional Specialist in Sheldon ISD, is currently teaching science at Cypress Fairbanks ISD, and enjoys helping teachers widen their impact. She has won Teacher of the Year at three different schools. She is also the CEO of Mentored Motivation.
